Our Client is a special-interest media company and publisher of premium special reports exclusively for a major national newspaper, covering a vast range of pertinent topics; business, technology, sustainability, lifestyle and the arts.
Based in Covent Garden, you will be on a basic salary of £36,000 with an uncapped OTE.
Our client has recently been commissioned to take over the commercial development the science and environment magazine. Our client is therefore seeking an experienced Advertising Sales Manager to join a dedicated team of high performers and take this award-winning monthly magazine to the next level.

Job Description:
Working in a collaborative team of five, the role involves developing and managing relationships with global brands and agencies to sell high sponsorship packages. The candidate will be proactively sourcing leads for new business as well as taking care of after sales support and account management to encourage repeat business.

Duties will include:
Conducting lead generation and researching new sales opportunities
Cold calling business to business
Pitching and closing advertising space
Meeting set sales targets through securing new and repeat business from clients
Take part in developing a multi-platform strategy
Visiting clients and building relationships
Account management and sales support
Attendance and participation in monthly editorial and production meetings
Active input into design and layout of the magazine

The Candidate:
The successful candidate will have excellent rapport building, a unique talent for new business development and account management skills. You must have experience in selling high value advertising solutions within a targeted environment to C-suite executives. Our client are only looking for the exceptionally talented and someone who can add value to the entire business through sharing of their knowledge, energy and creativity.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
