Silver Seed has a new role as a Senior Sales Executive at a well-established and highly reputable media group. With a basic salary of £29,000-£31,000 and an uncapped commission structure around £40,000 OTE you will be based in their contemporary office’s in Temple, Central London
Our client is a division of a well-known media group that specialises in delivering outstanding custom publications and marketing content across print, digital and events. The company has a solid reputation in the industry and aims to establish itself as a leader in delivering effective solutions to its clients.

Your main responsibility as a Senior Sales Executive will be to maximise advertising revenues for the company’s largest title that provides market intelligence to the financial and accountancy sectors. Your primary objective will be to increase and develop sales through:
- Actively looking for new business opportunities as well as developing the existing relations with clients
- Endeavour to forge close working relationships with as many clients as possible.
- Selling across a whole portfolio of services: display advertising, inserts, online and events
- Effectively manage junior sales executive’s and ensure constant interaction with other departments (studio, accounts etc.)
- Continually monitor competitive titles and events and have a good knowledge of the market
- Keep up to date with all relevant innovations in the industry, new sales methods, market trends as well as legal regulations in respect to advertising and publishing.
- Ensure that customer information and database is up to date
- Deputise for group advertising sales manager as and when required
- Maximise all selling opportunities, new and existing (electronic, traditional, exhibitions etc.)
- Complete call reports
- Effectively coordinate production process by issuing clear, qualified instructions to the clients and interact with relevant contacts within the company
- Run and organise training sessions, workshops and sales meetings as and when required
- Achieve targets through regular contact with client/agency base.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
The Candidate:
You will be an ambitious and highly motivated person with three to five years of media sales experience. You will be experienced and confident in cold calling, building a pipeline and closing deals. Training in DIPIDA or AIDA sales approach is a benefit but not a requirement. You will have a solid track record of exceeding revenue targets and leading a motivated and focused sales team. Good contacts with relevant agencies and clients will be a benefit.
