A new role has become available at A leading online publishing company targeting the technology sector. Having expanded from the US, this client has set up offices in London and is looking to expand its team and plans to penetrate the EMEA region.


Specializing in the technology sector my client has over 60 websites with the focus being online lead generation for their clients as an alternative solution to display advertising. The company are seeking Account Managers for EMEA to be responsible for managing significant technology accounts.

Selling online media products, this role is an opportunity to join a listed company that has aggressive plans to take the market with its unique offering that has a proven and measurable results.

This position is based in Oxford Circus and packages are competitive. You will be earning between

Essential Job Functions:
As an Account Manager, you will work both independently to develop UK and European contacts as well as with the US-based sales teams to leverage their history of success with the same accounts in the EMEA region

You will also work closely with different parties within the company, including: media groups focused on technology sectors (e.g. Data Center, Networking) including their publishers, marketers and editors; client consulting and campaign management teams;

You will grow advertising revenue through new business development (cold calling), ongoing client contact and account management.

You will increase your contacts and develop relationships with your clients by attending trade shows and active prospecting.

You will manage and increase sales within an assigned vertical market by making a large volume of sales calls; and keep abreast of industry developments; stay involved in industry activities through participation in trade shows, industry associations, and industry functions.


Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
At least 2 years of sales experience in the IT media market or in related online focused markets, selling to the marketing departments of IT companies.

Experience with lead generation and services which are delivered over a longer time period

Experience at a technology company would be a plus however a history of selling to them is an absolute must.

Demonstrated ability to break new accounts and to grow existing accounts in a B2B environment

Accountability and desire to attain goals are driving factors and ability to deal with a deep and complex set of products.

Supplementary Information

The package offering is entirely dependent on your previous experience and background. Successful candidates will then be assigned a set of accounts depending on their package.
