Account Manager



My client manages the largest library of Money Manager video reports and operates as a founder partner of Bloomberg's third party video service, using its experienced in-house editorial team and broadcast production facilities.

Over 1000 video reports are available on demand by the 125,000 Wealth Managers and Institutions registered with my client; All filmed to broadcast standards and transcribed for 'cut and paste' into articles or ‘print’ for reading at leisure.

As a technology innovator, my client manages video distribution to high and exacting standards; Feeding videos to key research and trading platforms, hosting media for global institutions and supporting its flagship web site.

The role

The client requires an Account Manager to join the expanding UK sales team, selling high quality video production and unique UK fund buyer distribution to Asset Management groups across the UK. Initially focused on developing new business on a project basis, the successful candidate will quickly become responsible for selling video production and distribution services to a number of existing client accounts whilst continuing to develop new client business, which will range from specialist boutique fund groups to large multi-national investment houses.

You will be on a basic salary of up to £40k with an uncapped commission structure with an expected OTE of £65k+

Expectations

Research, contact and develop prospects in to clients through initial telephone contact, email presentations and face to face meetings.



o •20-40 quality calls per day

o •Average 8 client meetings per week

o •Write and present product presentation

o •Create, manage and efficiently close pipeline business

o •Fully research prospect/client activity

o •Review and report Competitor activity

o •Analyse and distribute monthly client reports

o •Detailed approach to record keeping (using Salesforce)




The candidate

The successful candidate will hold a vital role in the future development of the business and will there for need to display an aptitude consistent with expectation. It is essential that the successful candidate is a self-starter and is able to work efficiently and effectively within their client remit.

o •1-3 years selling/presenting/closing business at C-level, preferably into Asset Management or other Financial firms

o •A creative solution approach to the sales process is vital

o •The ability to efficiently handle simultaneous sales lines with singular clients

o •New business sales and/or Account management experience within one or more of the areas below:

• oVideo production

• oWebcast/Teleconferencing facilities

• oDigital advertising sales

• oPrint advertising sales

• oExhibition/events

• oFund sales
