Description

A new role as a Business Development Manager has become available at the leading trademark and brand development agency targeting the drinks industry with international clients. You will be on a basic salary of £25.000 - £30,000 experience dependent with an uncapped commission structure and based in their sophisticated office near Bond Street.
Our client offers a unique service, advising companies on key strategic and marketing issues in addition to exceptional design and packaging expertise. The company has a strong and well established reputation in the industry and prides itself on working with world renowned drinks brands.
As a Business Development Manager you will be proactively identifying and qualifying new business opportunities for new clients globally. You will be good at understanding client requirements, strategies and their business as a whole, in order to offer innovative and creative solutions which best fit their needs.

Key responsibilities:
• Developing business by approaching new clients
• Writing proposals and responding to briefs
• Demonstrating and presenting the company’s portfolio to clients
• Updating and maintaining the database (CRM)
• Attending trade fairs, exhibitions and relevant industry functions
• Working closely with the Account Managers in order to ensure the smooth transfer of the accounts following contract acceptance


Qualifications and Skills:
• Fluency in German, Indian or other languages is an advantage but not a must
• Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets, preferably within an agency environment including the ability to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong ability to negotiate and close deals.
• Ability to multitask projects within tight deadlines including working under pressure in a busy office.
•This role will require international travel on an ad hoc basis.
