A new promising role as a Marketing Campaigns Manager has become available with a highly reputable and prestigious Publishing Group. Based in South East London you will receive a basic salary of £35,000 with a competitive benefits package.

About the role:

Reporting to the Marketing Director you will be primarily responsible for launching successful marketing campaigns offering a wide range of the company’s products to the educational institutions across the EMEA region. In addition, you will also plan and execute creative conferences and events, which will allow the brand to gain a better exposure as well as gather vital information relevant to the industry. As a Marketing Campaigns Manager you will be responsible for providing necessary assistance, personal and professional care to the staff reporting to you. This role holds numerous opportunities for growth within the company and to become the face of the world-renowned educational brand.

Responsibilities:
- Generate leads for the sales team through direct marketing.
- Create rolling marketing campaigns for acquisition, retention and reactivation of client accounts across Higher and Further Education, Schools and library sectors within EMEA territories through online/offline promotions (email, PPC, direct mail, website promotions)
- Create original promotional materials to support various distribution channels and partner promotions throughout the region.
- Provide bespoke marketing material targeting Ministries of Education on an ad hoc basis.
- Develop, test and implement each marketing and sales campaign to budget, and final analysis.
- Identify the customer data requirement and manage customer data for campaigns
- Devise a comprehensive plan for conferences and events to create an effective representation of the brand

Housekeeping and Management:
- Identify marketing needs of the company in terms of in-house and external resources, propose structure and implement new hires as business grows
- Through regular consultation and communication ensure that the staff are clear in their objectives and duties
- Ensure the team are mentored and briefed on how to create and implement effective marketing campaigns
- Pay prompt attention to problems with performance, conduct, concerns or grievances that may arise from your direct reports or in relation to staff for whom your reports are responsible.
- Liaise with HR Manager to review personal and professional welfare of company staff and implement individual or group development where appropriate

A successful candidate you will have:
- A solid knowledge of UK/EMEA Educational sector (schools, colleges, universities, Ministry of Education)
- Experience in direct marketing campaigns , online and offline
• Experience in conference and events management including, data segmentation, managing the briefing and creative process, targeting offers and messages, and analysing results.

• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• IT skills, Power Point, Excel, Word

• Business or marketing related degree or equivalent professional qualification

Proficiency in foreign language (EMEA), understanding of social media as well as contacts in the educational sector within the region would be an advantage, however not a must.
