Description
A new role has become available at a B2B publishing group as a sales manager that focus on the pharmaceutical industry. Based in East London our client offer a range of solutions for their clients to be able to communicate various trials and research results directly to their target audience. You will be on a basic salary of £18-35,000 (depending on experience) with an uncapped commission structure. A realistic OTE will be £50,000 in year one and £80-100,000 in year two.
Due to continuing growth, our client are looking for talented candidates who have B2B sales experience in the media sector and in particular the healthcare industries and even better in trade journals.
They are looking for highly organised, enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to join their ambitious and growing team. Candidates are likely to be motivated and commercially driven, with the ability and persistence to see projects through to completion. Climbing the career ladder will also be important to successful applicants, as there is plenty of career growth and opportunity is this growing company.
You will have both a willingness to learn and a desire to win. You must have an excellent telephone manner along with strong written and communication skills.
The Role
• The main objective is to maximise revenue generation by presenting well-researched advertising sales initiatives to leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.
• The role is predominantly office-based, with occasional trips to clients worldwide.
• The role requires you to achieve individual monthly sales and targets.
• You will need to build and manage a sales pipeline by generating leads with target companies at senior manager/director level.
Solid sales training is provided along with opportunities to attend conferences throughout Europe and the US. The successful candidate will enjoy the support of a committed team of driven sales people, and the opportunity to start a career that will develop very quickly. This is a career opportunity not just a job. Most new starters can expect to be managing teams within 12-18 months of joining.
Candidates with experience in concept/solution sales are encouraged to apply and candidates with B2B sales experience will also be strongly considered. Above all confidence and the right attitude will be possessed by the successful candidate.
